Broken Bloodlines Series By Sadie Kincaid
Broken Bloodlines Series By Sadie Kincaid
⚠️Spoilers included in this review.⚠️
This series is a wonderful RH Dark College Vampire romance, that is now complete. I read each as they came out and previously did short reviews for the first two. This includes full reviews for those as well as the final book and the novella Born in Blood.
I have previously read many series/standalones from Sadie Kincaid, and enjoyed them. She also writes dark mafia and real world romances.

4/5 🌶
I felt the storyline started a little slow, but picked up and rolled well. I am looking forward to the next book in the series.
The spice was wonderful, and bldy.
I love ophelia, and it feels like she definitely resembles the outcast, who is capable of more. The connection she develops with each of the vampires is unique and parallel at the same time. They each bring out a different part of her personality while still being equally in love with each.
I don't like feeling left in the dark, as Ophelia feels often in the book. I know there's always a reason for it, but I still don't like it.
Small break up that guts you for a few minutes before stitching you back up and giving you a huge dose of vampire love ❤️, Before it does a x2 effect.
She will be all that they crave for eternity. Just one bites and they belong to her, as she belongs to them. Fated by her blood, and what powers it possess.
A journey of truth and finding oneself and one's purpose.
The ending does push to make you want to read the next book.

3/5 🌶
Was really excited for this book. Did not disappoint.
I love Sadie's writing simply for the emotions it brings out of me. (ALL THE EMOTIONS!!) Definitely one of my favorite cliffhanger queens. She knows exactly how to make sure the reader will need the next book like it's an addiction.
The storyline progresses so much within this book. More secrets spilled, more dangers facing Ophelia and her loves.
Her powers growing and her being forced in the worst, but possibly most motivating ways, to control them. Ya know so the world doesn't open in on itself.
The tension between professor and Xavier 🤤
By this point, Malachi is my favorite of the guys. Xavier next, then Alexandros, and in last place Axel. I'm hoping I just don't understand him enough and the novella about him will fix that.
But that cliffhanger man let me tell you. I scream cried. I really did.
I am waiting as patiently as one can for the next one, as this has quickly became my favorite vampire book series.

4.5/5⭐️
I'm not rating this one on spice as it felt like cheating on Ophelia, even though I know she didn't even exist yet. /5🌶
I won't rate the spice, but it did exist, and under normal conditions it would be a high level.
This one was short and sweet. Coming in around 5 chapters.
I was right. The novella was definitely necessary for me to like Axel.
In this one we see through Axel and Alexandros POV how Axel was changed. Who Axel was before and what made him who he is now.
The spice scenes were top quality as always, and even shared part of Axel and Alexandros connection, and the way they love each other.

Wow. Just wow.
After finishing Promised in Blood, like many, I had several theories about the ending, and what would happen.
I was right about a few things, but the way everything played out was perfect.
As always Sadie Kincaid continues to pull on our heart strings throughout the entire book. Tempting all the emotions to rise to the surface and make you scream, cry, laugh, and sometimes want to die.
We do dive much deeper into the prophecy and who falls into each role within it.
I'm really glad I read the novella. I feel like i connect more with Axel now, and can actually see how much he cares for Ophelia, bond or not.
Speaking of bonds, if i had any suspicions that the bond was the only reason they cared for each other so much, I was proven wrong.
Without completely spoiling it, the dreaded nickname "Pup" has brought me to my knees in yet another book. I'm not huge on it as a term of endearment, but sometimes the characters are so well written I almost like it. Most of that scene is highlighted for me, and that speaks volumes on the characters.
This book really showed Ophelia's love and determination when it came to her men. It also showed how brilliant and powerful she is.
Sadie loves to write HEA, and that mindset is what kept me going through this emotional rollercoaster. The journey was long and painful, but it was worth it in the end.
Overall the series gets 4.5/5 ⭐️ & 4/5🌶 This is now my favorite Vampire series. As much as my kindle notes and highlights would disagree, I loved each book.
I would definitely recommend RH Vampire lovers to meet Ophelia, Malachi, Xavier, Axel, and Alexandros.
If this isn't your vibe, Sadie Kincaid writes several genres and may still have a book for you.
These books are a complete trilogy, with more prequel novellas to come.
(This is my own personal review based on my opinion on this book/series. Not everyone enjoys the same books, just because I loved/hated it doesn't mean you will love/hate it. As always, check your trigger warnings.)
