2.5/5 🌶
Received as an ARC read.
This book was so cute!! I absolutely love the little one liners, Rizzo becomes the sweetest hockey book boyfriend so quickly.

Few hockey players back down from a challenge, and Rizzo is no exception. So when his best friend Nat says "prove it" to his bedroom abilities, how could he not be overly competitive giving both of them the best night of their lives.
However thrist trap isn't used to the feel of receiving the goodbye in the mornings, and now he's making his own challenge. Deserve her.
Nat has a lot going on in her life right now, but can't help being distracted by Rizzo. They agreed to one night, so she will keep her word, even if it kills her inside. She finally found a family she loves, she can't risk ruining that while getting her heart broken by the team playboy.

This is book 2 of the Viper Sin Bin Series by K.D. Miller. I 100% recommend reading Puck the Holidays first. I did not, and felt like the first story had more excitement in it, based on what information I got through the book. It also helps with understanding who everyone is better. Even after reading Puck the Holidays, I still felt there was more conflict and twists in the first book compared to this one.

This book fell in around 238 pages, which feels right with the storyline. I didn't feel like it dragged on, and it was easy to follow.

I loved all the one liners, and super cute moments. Zamboni ❤️
Hockey players singing Hannah Montana sign me up!
I was also able to find a translation guide for some of the hockey lingo, provided by the author which is awesome.

There are a few spicy scenes in this book that are really well written. Most I would consider steamy.

I really loved this book as a cute bffs to lovers to relationship story.
Overall I rate the story a 4.5/5 and 2.5/5 for the spice.

(This is my own personal review based on my opinion on this book/series. Not everyone enjoys the same books, just because I loved/hated it doesn't mean you will love/hate it. As always, check your trigger warnings.)
