This is a wonderful spicy spin on a classic tale. There are 4 books in the series. Ace of spades, King of Clubs, Jack of Diamonds, and Queen of Hearts.

Check your trigger warnings please as some scenes can be rough to read.

The story of young Alice saving wonderland from the wicked red queen has been told time and time again, as it has happened time and time again. This time however, Alice isn't as young and is more confident in her body than her abilities. Since she is older, her creativity isn't up to par. Our familiar faces step in to help train her for her mission, some in unconventional manners. Can Alice manage to beat the red queen once and for all, and save wonderland ending the return of Alice's? Or will she fail and lose all her companions she has become very acquainted, with to the Red Queen?

⚠️Actual Spoilers ahead:

In the first book we learn about the Alice's, and part of our current Alice's mission.
This one felt like it was more setting the plot and introduction to the main characters, with plenty of spice. Chess, Hatter, and Callister teaching Alice how to use her imagination, to find the Vorpal Sword. While this series is intended to be mostly smut, we do manage to get some progression in the storyline, before a cliffhanger that begs you to read further.

In the second book, we meet Ransom, the King of Clubs. (Literally) We also burst the door open on the insanity that truly is the Red Queen. With more spicy, fast paced storyline, and easy to follow dialog, Jekka creates a good sequel to continue the readers addiction to wonderlands wicked boys.

In book 3 we can finally have all the wicked boys together, safe. However, the number 1 person Alice needs to train with is Jack. Jack is a fierce top warrior for Queen Amari, and is to train Alice in combat to defeat the red queen. Here's the kick, he's also a vampire.
The spice in this one is top tier, and the storyline slows a bit during this one, leaving us with yet again another nail biting ending.

The final book in the storyline shows us how far the wicked boys are willing to go for their Alice, and Alice for her boys.
This one having more twists and turns than the others, and the best spice of all, ranks as one of my favorite. By the end of the series you've seen each character go through a growth arc, and the end wraps the story up nicely.

Overall as a series, I though the twist on the tale was amazing, the writing kept me reading, the spice was spicey, and I can't stop re-reading it. The story kinda dropped a bit for me personally in book 2, Ace of clubs, but I felt the entire storyline was so fast paced I was pulled back in quickly.
I give the overall series a 4/5⭐️

Each book is around 200 pages, and is available on KU.
I would definitely recommend if you'd enjoy a fast paced, dark, spicy, Alice in wonderland reimagined.

These books are a complete series
(This is my own personal review based on my opinion on this book/series. Not everyone enjoys the same books, just because I loved/hated it doesn't mean you will love/hate it. As always, check your trigger warnings.
