OH MY GOODNESS! 
We are back with book 2 of the Wrecked series by Ellie Pond. This series is still everything I was looking for.
I spent so much time highlighting all the amazing quotes, and bookmarking the pages. 
48 Chapters of the sweetest romance, fighting to survive, and a mystery unraveling. 

First off YAY SAM IS BACK! That cliffhanger had me biting my nails waiting for this reunion. 
A reunion that of course comes with its own set of problems for everyone. Especially since Sam has past trauma from being cheated on.
Everyone agrees some of Haley is better than none. Despite the possibility of jealousy they all still worship Haley without a second thought 

This is the book for the confessions of love. Calvin and Dante both make sure to tell Chiefie/ Sassy straight up that they love her, while Zane, Easton, and Sam do it with actions and other words. 
Through all of this, they know Haley loves them. Each of them, not one more than the other. 

“No, Chiefie. You need to feel us. Each one of us. We’re yours. We need you to remember that in the coming days. I love you. And they might not have said it yet, but they do too.”

The ships storyline really took a turn in this one. It went from survival to a who dunnit mystery. When we get get back to the "Rock Candy" we learn the ship was sabotaged. Little clues are found through out the entire ship. Which still leave us wondering who, why, and when they did it. (I did find some bonus chapters that might have some hints.) 
Everyone begins to question everything. Leaving Easton in a weird spot, as some signs point to his family, and some uncover secrets that shock everyone. 

I do think it's a little funny everyone has managed to hurt themselves somehow. Zane's foot, Calvin's foot, Haley's ankle, Dante's head, Sam's leg, and Easton's outlook on his "before" life looking at the clues. 

I love how even Calvin and Sam are adding some comedic relief to the seriousness of the situation. I have way too many highlights revolving around Dante and his "monster". 

Again with a cliffhanger that makes you want the next book now. 

Overall I give the book 5/5 ⭐️, as I slowly become more and more obsessed with this series. The love storyline got me hooked, but the twists and turns within the shipwreck storyline have me searching for more.

These are some of the books I read during January with small reviews for each.  Lawson by Samantha whiskey  3/5 Daughter of Hockey Coach helps the team, and falls for a player who helped her out before knowing who she was. Decent hockey romance. I didn't feel like it was fantastic, but I didn't hate it. No Pucking Way/Our Pucking Way by C.R. Jane 4/5 Woman with amnesia feels something at a hockey rink, spoiler alert it's the players. Decent push and pull between all the characters with nice twists thrown into the plot. Adrift by Ellie Pond 5 /5 ⭐️ 3.5 /5 🌶 I did sign up and receive an ARC for this book.  ⚠️Spoilers included in this review.⚠️ When I signed up for this ARC, it was to help my "Below Deck" addiction. I was expecting some RH spicy spice between crew members on a charter yacht.  I was not prepared for them having to abandon ship, leave the captain, get separated from half the crew/guests, and end up on an island they may not be safe on. This book ended up being so much more than what I originally thought I wanted.  Our lovely Chief Stew, Haley, gets five guys by the end of book 1. We have Captain Sam, Engineer Calvin, Deckhand Zane, Chef Dante, and Guest/Olympian Easton. With all these different guys you pretty much get whatever trope you prefer, including the forced proximity of the island, and Haley finding her chosen family.
